Mary M. Lewis To Mathew Chesser
               "Deed"
Whereas it appears that an Identure was duly executed by my
late husband by my late husband John H. Lewis and myself on the
6th of February 1850 to Mathew Chesser of Alachua County State
of Florida for Section twenty three Township Nine Range Nineteen in
the "Arredondo Grant in said County of Alachua Florida and which
was duly acknowledged by said John H. Lewis and myself before
the Honorable Edwin C. Betts Judge of the County Court of Madison
County and as appears by the Certificate of J.A. Carlisle Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Alachua County Florida was duly recorded
in said County in Record Book A page 251 and 252 and whereas
it is suggested that said Indenture is not executed in complete Conformity
to the laws of Florida; Now Therefore in order to give further Assurance
to the same I the said Mary M. Lewis in whom the title of said
lands was vested in my own right and said John H. Lewis having
since deceased do hereby ratify confirm and convey to said
Chesser his heirs and assigns the premises in said Indenture
described as of the date thereof, to have have and to hold the
same in fee simple forever; the Indenture of said Mary M.
Lewis being to rectify Solely the Errors or deficiencies in the
deed executed as aforesaid by her said husband and herself
And the said Mary M. Lewis will warrant the title to said
property only as against herself and any person or persons
claiming through her or under her. In Witness Whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal at
Huntsville in Madison County Alabama this first day of
August AD 1882
