& being in the County of Alachua Florida described in the maps of 
Public Survey of said State as the South West Quarter of the North East
Quarter of Section Twenty four in Township nine South of Range Twenty Two East
and containing thirty nine acres & Eighty Two Hundredths of an acre
Together with all and singular the rights & privileges tenements hereditaments and
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining of the
said parties of the first part of in or to the above described premises with
every part & parcel thereof To Have & to Hold the above conveyed premises
with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part & to his
heirs and assigns as their absolute property in fee simple forever. And the
said parties of the first part for themselves & their heirs executors administrators
& assigns do covenant and agree to & with the said party of the second
part & his heirs executors administrators & assigns that they are at the time
of the ensealing and delivery of these presents seized of a good and indefensible
fee simple title to the above described premises and that they have good
right & full authority to convey the same as they have conveyed the same free &
discharged from all legal encumbrances of every nature & description & that
they do hereby warrant & will forever defend the title herein conveyed
against all persons whomsoever Claiming the same. In Testimony

appeared before me a Notary Public for the State of Florida Alexander
Goodson & Celia Goodson his wife who acknowledged that they
executed the foregoing instrument of writing and for the purposes
therein set forth and the said Celia Goodson wife of the said
Alexander Goodson having been examined by me separate and apart
from her said husband the said Alexander Goodson acknowledged that
she executed the foregoing instrument of writing for the purpose of
relinquishing all her right of Dower in the lands therein described
and that she did so of her own free will and accord and not from
any fear of or compulsion from her said husband the said Alexander
Goodson. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal of
office at Melrose this fifth day of February AD 1881
