P.G. Snowden to H.L. Rosenberger

State of Florida   } Know all men by these Presents that we Peter G. Snowden
Marion County      } and Eliza C. Snowden his wife of the aforesaid County
and State for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty 
dollars to us in hand paid by H.L. Rosenberger of the County of Montgomery
in the State of Pennsylvania the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey unto him the said H.L. Rosenberger all of that
certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the
County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known and 
described as follows to wit: The South half of the South half of the
South west quarter of the south east quarter of section fifteen (15)
Township ten (10) South Range Twenty (20) East Containing by estimation
Ten (10) acres of land more or less Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in
anywise appertaining To Have and to Hold the same unto him the said
H.L. Rosenberger and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in
fee simple absolute, and that we the said Peter G. Snowden and
Eliza C. Snowden do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
H.L. Rosenberger that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property
herein and hereby conveyed and that we have good and lawful right to
sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances of
any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors and adminis=
trators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto him the
said H.L. Rosenberger and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same  In Witness
Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on this ___ day of

Alachua County   }   I hereby certify that on this 15 day of January
AD 1883 Before me personally appeared Mrs Eliza C. Snowden wife of
P.G. Snowden the grantor in the foregoing conveyance who being first
duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart from her
said husband says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said
deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing
all of her right of Dower in and to the land in said deed described and
that said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by
her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
