described to Alfred L. Barker and the said Cyn-
thia J. Waits upon an examination made by me
separate and apart from her husband acknowledged
that she made herself a party to said conveyance
for the purpose of relinquishing all her right in the
lands therein mentioned and that she did so freely
and voluntarily and without any fear constraint
or compulsion from her said husband

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 16th day of
October AD 1882, Between John Chestnut of the said State
and County, and Maria Chestnut his wife of the first
part and Lucy Dawkins wife of Thomas W. Dawkins
of the same place of the second part, daughter of
the said parties of the first part Witnesseth that the
said parties of the first part for and in consider
ation of the natural love and affection which they
have unto the said Lucy Dawkins and for the further
consideration of the sum of One Hundred and fifty
Dollars paid by the said party of the second part to the
parties of the first part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have given granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do give grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the
second part all that certain lot tract piece or parcel
of land lying and being situate in the State and County
