that Francis J. Barnes a Bachelor of Cayuga County
State of New York of the aforesaid County and State for 
and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars
to me in hand paid by Chester K. Snyder in the State of Illinois
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bar
gained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey unto him the said Chester K.
Snyder all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land
situated lying and being in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida particularly known and described as
follows to wit: Lot Number sixteen (16) as described
on the plat of section Eleven (11) Township nine (9) Range
Twenty (20) Alachua County State of Florida Recorded as the
west addition of the town of Fairbanks containing Twenty
(20) acres of land be the same more or less containing
by estimation ___ acres of land more or less Together with
all and singular the Tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To
have and to hold the same unto him the said Chester
K. Snyder and to his heirs executors administrators and ass-
igns in fee simple and absolute and I the said Francis
J. Barnes do hereby covenant and agree to and with the
said Chester K. Snyder that I am lawfully seized in fee
of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that I
have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same 
that the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind what-
soever and that I will and my heirs executors and admin-
istrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the
same unto him the said Chester K. Snyder and to his heirs
executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims
and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming
or hereafter to claim the same.  In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal on this day of ____ AD 1883.
