Alachua County   } This Indenture made this seventeenth day
of December AD Eighteen hundred & sixty six Between William
G. Colson administrator of the Estate of William Colson Sr dec
eased party of the first part and James L. Lott of Warner
County Pennsylvania and H.L. Barton of Chautauqua
County New York party of the second part. Witnesseth whereof
by virtue of an order issued from the probate court of
Alachua County and to said administrator directed he
was ordered to sell all the real estate belonging to the Estate
of William Colson and whereas the said William G. Colson ad-
ministrator advertised the same according to law and the
same being offered at public outcry was bid off at
Eight Thousand dollars the highest bid offered. Now know
we or all men by these presents that I William G. Colson
admin aforesaid in consideration of the said Eight
thousand dollars to me in hand paid at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and
sold & by these presents do grant and convey unto
the parties of the second part all that tract or pieces
of land known as the Section Number Twenty seven
