and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged that said party of the first part has given granted
bargained and sold and conveyed and by these presents does
do give grant bargain sell and convey to the said party of the
second part the following mentioned and described plantation or
parcel of land To wit the south half of section nineteen of
Township ten of range Twenty one in the county and state
aforesaid  To have and to hold the above described and conveyed
premises unto the said party of the second part her heirs
executors or administrators and assigns in fee simple forever

sixth day of March one thousand Eight hundred and
sixty seven before me a Justice of the Peace in and
for said County personally appeared Elizabeth M. Rives
to me personally known to me to be the wife of Benjamin
T. Rives who executed the foregoing conveyance and sev
erally acknowledged that she executed this conveyance for
the consideration and purposes therein mentioned and the said
Elizabeth Rives having voluntarily appeared before me
in the absence of her husband declared that she did of her
own free will executed this conveyance and that she signed
and sealed the relinquishment of her dower for the purposes
therein contained and set forth with out compulsion or
under influence of her said husband
