"Deed"
This indenture made the seventeenth day of April
in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
Eighty two, Between Edwin Sandys Dawes George
Augustus Thompson and Anthony Norris of London,
England, Trustees of the Florida Land and Colonization
Company, Limited incorporated under the Companies
Acts 1862 to 1880. And whose registered office
is situated at 13, Austin Friars, London E.C.,
England, parties of the first part, And John Adger
Clark, of the Town of Asheville in the State of
North Carolina party of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in Consideration of the sum of
Six Hundred and fifty dollars Lawful money
to them in hand paid by the said part of the
second part At or before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents, The receipt where of is hereby
acknowledged, Have granted bargained sold
Remised released Conveyed and Confirmed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell remise
release Convey and Confirm unto the said part of
the second part. And to his heirs and assigns
forever.
All That Certain lot piece or parcel of Land
lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida in the United States of North America
and better known and described on the plat of the
said County of Alachua as follows, to wit:
Being the South East (SE) quarter of the South West
(SW) quarter of Section seven (7) of Township Twelve (12)
South of Range Twenty Two (22) East. -
Meaning and intending hereby to Convey forty (40) Acres
more or Less of Land and Water.
Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances there unto
belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion
and reversions Remainder and remainders rents
issues and profits there of. And also all the
Estate right, title, interest property possession
Claim and demand what soever as well
in Law as in Equity of the said parties of the
first part of in and to the above described
