James R. Adkins to David Boyd

Alachua County  } This Indenture made this sixth day of
November AD 1882 between James R. Adkins of said State and
County of the first part and David Boyd of the County
___ State of ___ of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consid
eration of the sum of Thirty Dollars to the parties of the first part
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
in fee simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being in said State and County and described as follows to wit:
A part of the North East quarter of the South East quarter of
Section Twenty Seven Township Ten South of Range Twenty
Two (22) East to wit beginning at a point Two hundred and
eight feet south of the north West corner of said forty
acre Tract thence south three and sixteen hundredths
chains thence west three and sixteen hundredths cha-
ins thence north three and sixteen hundredths chains then
East three and sixteen hundredths chains to point of beginn
ing meaning hereby to convey one square acre lying
South of William Reddicks land purchased of said
Adkins  To have and to hold the above described
land to the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns Together with the rights members and
appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any manner app
ertaining and the said parties of the first part for them
selves their heirs executors administrators and assigns
the title to the above bargained sold and conveyed
premises will forever warrant and defend against
all legal claims and demands.  In testimony whereof
we have hereunto set our hands and seals the date first
written
