in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida partic
ularly described according to the plats and map of said
Town of Micanopy made upon the survey of Joel B. Smith
as being Lot No Four (4) of Township No One (1) North of
Range No One (1) West and containing one acre of land more
or less said lot of land being part of what is known according
to the United States Government surveys as Section Twenty six
(26) in Township Eleven (11) south of Range Twenty (20) East
in what is properly known as the ?Arredondo Grant? Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenan
ces to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To have
and to hold the same unto him the said William W. Brice and
to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
absolute forever. and we the said Margaret R. Shuford and Will-
iam T. Shuford her husband do hereby covenant and agree to
and with the said William W. Brice that we are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed that
we have good lawful and perfect right to sell and convey
the same that the same is free from and clear of
any and all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever
and that we will and our and each of our heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever war-
rant and defend the same unto him the said William
W. Brice and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns forever against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claim
ing or hereafter to claim the same In witness whereof
we have hereunto set our hands and affixed hereto our
seals on this nineteenth day of February AD 1883.

Alachua County   }   I J.W. Smith a Notary Public in and for
Alachua County State of Florida do hereby certify that on
this 19th day of February AD 1883 before me in person app-
eared Mrs Margaret R. Shuford to me well and personally known
to be the wife of William T. Shuford and one of the grantors in
the foregoing deed of conveyance and she being by me first
duly questioned and examined separate and apart from
her said husband did say and acknowledge before me
that she did execute sign, seal, and deliver the foregoing
Deed of conveyance of her separate property and estate
for the uses and purposes as are therein contained and
expressed and that she did the same freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
