the State of Florida and County of Alachua being a
part of land conveyed by James R. Adkins to William Haraway
on the fourteenth day of December AD 1878 also in addition to
said tract a sufficient quantity of land to make with that
already discribed a tract of Twenty acres and being boun-
ded on the east and west by a continuation of the east and
west lines of said five acre tract all of said lands being
lands conveyed by said Adkins to said Caraway December
14th 1878 by deed recorded in the public records of said Alachua
County in Book K at pages 690 & 691 and by said Caraway
to said Vanatta on the 19th day of September AD 1882. To have
and to hold the above described land to the said party of the
second part her heirs and assigns together with the rights mem-
bers and appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any man-
ner appertaining and the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns the
title to the above bargained sold and conveyed premises
will forever warrant and defend against all legal claims and
demands In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands

Alachua County   } Personally appeared before
the undersigned William C. Vanatta and Anna E. Vanatta
his wife and acknowledged that they executed the fore
going deed for the purpose of conveying the land therein
described to Samantha M. Bounds and the said Anna E.
Vanatta upon an examination made by me separate and
apart from her husband acknowledges that she made
herself a party to said conveyance for the purpose of
relinquishing all dower and right of Dower in the lands
therein mentioned and that she did so freely and volunta
rily and without any fear constraint or compulsion from
her said husband.
