M.A. Lewis to M.P. Perry
           "Deed"
State of Florida  }
County of Alachua }  This indenture made and entered into this
the 12th day of December AD 1879 between Mrs Martha A. Lewis
(widow) of the County of Alachua and State of Florida of
the first part and Mrs Martha P. Perry of the same State and
County of the second part, Witnesseth that the said Martha
A. Lewis party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars, to her in
hand paid by the party of the second at and before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged has this day granted bargained
and sold and by these presents does grant bargain sell alien
and convey to the said party of the second part to her heirs
and assigns the following described lands all that certain tract
piece or parcel of land lying and being situate in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida, and Known and described as
section twenty four (24) Township Ten (10) Range Twenty one
(21) and all of that portion of section Nineteen (19) lying west
of Locklusa Creek supposed to contain three hundred
acres more or less also a small fractional portion of section
Thirty Township Ten (10) Range (22) Twenty Two lying north
of the ditch due east of the creek also the north east quar
ter of section Twenty five (25) Township Ten 10 Range twenty
two (22) the same being the lands formaly owned by
Daniel Scott decd and Known as the "Scott" Plantation
and conveyed to me by R.F. Taylor Commissioner under
date first December 1873, said deed of conveyance recorded
on pages 146 147 & 148 of Deed Book "I" of the records of Alach
=ua County and containing Eleven hundred acres more or
less Together with all the rents issues and profits arrising
from said lands or in any way pertaining to it since the
execution of the Deed by R.F. Taylor Commissioner dated
December first 1873 To have and to hold the above described
lands Together with all the rights tenements hereditaments
appurtenances issues and profits belonging thereto or in any
wise appertaining unto the said Martha P. Perry to her heirs
and assigns to their own proper use and behoof forever
her from and against the claims of myself and against
the claims of any and all persons claiming by through
or under me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal the year and day first above written
