acknowledge have granted bargained sold and convey
ed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and con
vey unto her the said Alice Ann Shanklin all of that
certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
particularly known and described as follows to wit: The 
North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section
(27) Twenty seven in Township Eight (8) South of Range
(21) Twenty one East according to public maps & records
of said state, containing by estimation 40 acres of
land more or less Together with all and singular the
Tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and
to hold the same unto her the said Alice Ann Shanklin
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns
in fee simple absolute and we the said Conrad Kastner
& his wife Mary Kastner do hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said Alice Ann Shanklin
that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property here
in and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the same
is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever
and that we will and our heirs executors and administra
tors shall and will forever warrant and defend the same
unto her the said Alice Ann Shanklin and to her heirs
executors administrators and assigns against the lawful
claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
now claiming or hereafter to claim the same In witness
whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our
seals on this 10th day of October AD 1882

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 10th day
of October AD 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs
Mary Kastner wife of Conrad Kastner the grantor in
the foregoing conveyance who being first duly question
ed and examined by me separate and apart from her
said husband says and acknowledges before me that
she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose
of releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right
of dower in and to the land in said deed described and
that said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was
done and made by her freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband.
