Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 22nd day of
February A.D. 1883, between Annie E. Bates and her husband
George F. Bates of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
parties of the first part and Nancy J. Quailes of the County of
Alachua State of Florida of the second part Witnesseth that
for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars
to the parties of the first part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party
of the second part her heirs and assigns in fee simple all
of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in
the town of Hawthorn State of Florida and described
as follows to wit: Beginning Six chains and Eighty
