the receipt whereof he do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto him the said Jacob Pierce all of that certain lot piece tract or
parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida particularly known and described as follows to wit:
From a Stake on the Section line placed at 20.00 chains South of
the North West corner of Section 29. East fifteen chains (15.00) to a Stake
the place of beginning. Thence North fifteen degrees West fourteen chains
and fifty nine (14.59) links to a stake No 2 on the bank of Hogtown
Creek return to place of beginning East five chains and Seventy five
(5.75) links to stake No 3 thence North to Stake No 4 on the Bank
of Hogtown Creek twelve chains and fifty links thence along
the bank of the creek westwards to Stake No 2 Eleven (11) chains
more or less all in the North half of the North West quarter of 
Section 29. Tp 9. S. R 20 E. Containing by estimation ten 10 acres
[drawing     of land more or less Together with all and singular the
inserted      tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging
here]           or in anywise appertaining. To Have and Hold the same 
                    unto him the said Jacob Pierce and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple and absolute and he the said
Elly C. Bailey do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob
Pierce that he is lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed and that he have good and lawful right to sell and
convey the same that the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind
whatsoever and that he will and his heirs executors and administra-
tors shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto
him the said Jacob Pierce and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or
hereafter to claim the same. in Witness Whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal on this 9th day of March
