"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents
Alachua County } that I Dora Wallace and W.C.
Wallace her husband of the aforesaid county and State
for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred
dollars to me in hand paid by Katie Virginia Herman
of the county of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt
whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bar-
gained sold and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto her the said Katie Virginia
Herman all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of
land situated lying and being in the town of Gainesville
in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida partic-
ularly known and described as follows to wit: Commen-
cing One hundred feet from the south west corner of the
Lot of land Situated in Gainesville Alachua county Florida
known as the Dawkins Lot on the south boundary of
said lot running Thence ninety feet East from a stake
on the south Boundary line of said Dawkins Lot to a
stake Thence one hundred and eighty feet to a stake
Thence Ninety feet west to a stake Thence South one
hundred and eighty feet to the point of beginning
the said Lot being the same heretofore conveyed by deed
of Date 25th Dec 1878 by J.B. Dawkins and C.T. Dawkins
to the grantor herein Dora Wallace said deed recorded
at pages 630 & 631 Book K Record of Alachua County
containing by estimation 34/100 acres of land more or less
together with all and singular the tenements heredity-
aments and appurtenances thereto belonging
or in anywise appertaining To Have and to
Hold the same unto her the said Katie Virginia Herman
and to her heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute forever and we the
said Dora Wallace and W.C. Wallace her husband
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
Katie Virginia Herman that we are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby
conveyed and that we have good and lawful
right to sell and convey the same that the same
is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and
that we will and our heirs executors and administrators
shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto
her the said Katie Virginia Herman and to her heirs exec-
utors administrators and assigns against the lawful
claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the
same In witness whereof we have hereunto
