her husband who Joins in this deed for the
purpose of ratifying and confirming the act of his
said wife of the first part and T.B. Stringfellow
of the second part all of the State and County a
foresaid. Witnesseth that the said parties of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Eight hundred & fifty ($850.00) Dollars to them
in hand paid by said party of the second part
The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
Have granted bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said party of the second
part. All that certain lot tract piece or 
parcel of land lying and being situated
in the state and county a foresaid and in the
town of Gainesville. And particularly designated
upon the map of the Original survey of said
town as the North half of Lot number No (2) two
in Block (3) three Range (7) seven said lot
hereby conveyed being One hundred feet (100) feet
North and south by one hundred & twenty (20) feet
East and west.
To have and to hold the same unto him the said
party of the second part. And to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute
And the said parties of the first part do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said party
of the second part that they are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby
conveyed. And that they have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same
that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind what soever and that they will
and their heirs executors and Administrators shall and
will forever warrant and defend the same unto
the said party of the second part and to his
heirs executors Administrators and assigns against
the lawful claims and demands of any and
all person's whomsoever now claiming or here after to
claim the same.
