being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly
known and described as follows to wit: Beginning at the point where
the (1/2) half mile line running East and West through section (30) Thirty
Township (9) Nine South Range (20) Twenty East crosses the run of
Hogtown Creek and running thence East (10) Ten chains and (93) Ninety
three links thence North (3) three chains and (17) Seventeen links Thence
North (75°) Seventy five degrees and (30?) Thirty minutes West (12) Twelve
chains to the new of Hogtown Creek thence down the run of the
said creek to the point of beginning this being part of the North
East (1/4) Quarter of Section (30) Thirty Township (9) Nine South
Range (20) Twenty East containing by estimation (5 33/100) Five and Thirty
three one hundredths acres more or less. Together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in anywise appertaining to have and Hold the same unto him
the said Theodore A. Carroll and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns in fee simple and absolute. And we the said Jacob
Bryant and Rachael Bryant do hereby covenant and agree to and
with the said Theodore A. Carroll that we __ lawfully seized in
fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that we have
good and lawful right to sell and convey the same that the same
is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that We
Will and our heirs executors and administrators shall and will
forever warrant and defend the same unto him the said Theodore
A. Carroll and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness
Whereof We have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on
this 18th day of February AD 1882

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 18th day of February
AD 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs Rachael Bryant
wife of Jacob Bryant the grantor in the foregoing conveyance
who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges
before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the
purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her
right of Dower in and to the land in Said deed described and that
said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done and
made by her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
