Alachua State of Florida of the second part witnesseth
that for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty fife Dollars
to the parties of the first part paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns in fee simple all of that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being in said State and
County and described as follows to wit: Lots number five in
block number one in Magnesia Springs which is said
Simmons Subdivision of the North half of the North
East quarter of section Thirty one (31) Township (10) Ten
S Range (22) Twenty Two East. To have and to hold the above
described land to the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns together with the right members and
appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in anywise
appertaining And the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns
the title to the above bargained sold and conveyed prem
ises will forever warrant and defend against all legal Claims
and demands In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set
our hands and seals the date first written

County of Alachua}  personally appeared before the undersig
ned Cicero A. Simmons and Martha M. Simmons his wife
both aforesaid and acknowledged that they executed the
foregoing deed for the purpose of conveying the land therein
described to John J. Hardenburgh aforesaid and the
said Martha M. Simmons upon an examination made
by me separate and apart from er husband acknowledges
that she made herself a party to said conveyance for
the purpose of relinquishing all dower and right of dower
in the lands therein mentioned and that she did so freely and
voluntarily and without any fear constraint or compulsion
from her said husband.
