"Deed"

Alachua County } This indenture made and entered
into this the seventh (7th) day of March A.D. Eighteen
hundred and eighty three (1883) between William A.
Colclough (widower) and Mrs. O.C. Colclough in her
own right and Charles A. Colclough her husband (who
joins his said wife for the purposes of this deed) of
the said State and county the parties of the first part
and J.M. Hallows of the State of Florida the party of
the second part witnesseth that the said parties of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Four thousand one hundred and ninty Eight
($4198) dollars good and lawful money of the United
States in hand paid to them by the said party of the
second part Have granted bargained sold aliened
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell alein and convey unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns that certain lot tract piece
or parcel of land lying and being situate in the State
of Florida and Alachua County in Section Eight (8)
and nine (9) Township Ten (10) South Range Twenty
(20) East Particularly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at a point Thirty feet South of and from
the centre of the main line of the track of The Florida
Transit Rail Road and two hundred and thirty five
feet East of and from the centre of the track of the Florida
Southern Railway the same being the North East
corner of the four and Eight one hundredths acre
track purchased by the party of the second part from
the parties of the first part herein by deed dated March
3d A.D. 1883, and running from said point N 81° 50' E,
parallel to centre line of Florida Transit Railroad
Two hundred and fifty three (253) feet to a Stake
on north boundary line of said sec Eight Thence
S 86° E six hundred and ninteen (619) feet along said
sec line to a stake thence S 27° 5' E six hundred
and Eight feet to a stake thence S 38° 30' West nine-
teen hundred and thirty seven feet to a stake thence
N 20° 40' W fourteen hundred and forty six feet to a
Stake Thence North 75° East six hundred and twenty
seven feet to a stake thence north 3° W four hun-
dred and forty nine feet to the place of beginning
(the bearings all being magnetic) the above granted
land hereby granted and conveyed containing forty
and thirty two one hundredths (40 32/100) Acres Exclusive
of the right of way of Florida Southern Railway
