Alachua County   } This indenture made this 15th
day of October AD One thousand Eight hundred and 
Eighty two (1882) Between Elige Cason and Mourning Cason
heir at Law of John R and Pheba Cason late of said
county deceased) parties of the first part and
David E. Whetstone of Columbia County and state of
Florida party of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars
paid by the said party of the second part to the said
party of the first part at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged. Hath granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said party of the second
part and to his heirs and assigns for ever all
the Eighth title and interest that the parties of the
first part have or that may allow hereafter to them
in the following described land lying and being
in the county of Alachua and state of Florida
and more particularly described as follows to wit
NE1/4 of NE1/4 & SE1/4 of NE1/4 all in section 8
