John Bartley To Washington B. Cross
            Deed
This indenture made the 25th day of December in the
year of our Lord, One thousand Eight hundred and eighty two
Between John Bartley and his wife Nancy Bartley of the
county of Alachua and state of Florida of the first part
and Washington B. Cross of the county & state above written
of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Fifty ($50) Lawful money of the United States of
America to him paid by the said party of the second part
at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien
remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the
second part and his heirs and assigns forever. All
that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the
County of Alachua and state of Florida descried as
North west quarter of the North East quarter of section
Twenty six township (10) south Range Twenty two East
thence south 3° East seven chains ninety links and
five Eights of a link. Thence north 86° 30' East
six chains thirty two and half Links. Thence North
3° west seven chains ninety and five eights of links
thence south 86° 30 west six chains and thirty
two and a half links back to place of beginning
containing five Acres more or less.
Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances there unto belonging
or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
remainder and profits there of and also all the Estate
title interest possession claim and demand whatsoever
as well in Law as in equity of the said parties of the first
part. To have and to hold the above granted and 
described premises with the appurtenances unto the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
to his own proper use forever. And the said parties of
first part for themselves their heirs executors and administr-
ators do covenant to and with the party of the second part
his heirs and assigns that the said parties of the first
part at the time of the sealing and delivery of these presents
are lawfully seized in fee simple of and in all and
singular the above bargained and described premises
with the appurtenances have good right and lawful
authority to sell and convey the same. And that the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
