"Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County } This Indenture made this First
day of May A.D. 1883, between James S. Jolly of Hawthorne
Florida in said State and County and his wife Esther
E. Jolly who joins her husband in this conveyance
for the purpose of relinquishing her dower in the lands
hereinafter described parties of the first part and
James Baldwin of the County of Putnam State of
Florida of the second part: Witnesseth that for and in
consideration of the sum of One Hundred and fifty Dol-
lars to the parties of the first part paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted barg-
ained sold and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns in fee simple all of that
certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in
the County of Alachua in said State and described
as follows to wit: Lots (10) Ten and Twelve (12) of Block
3; Three in the addition to the Town of Hawthorn
Known as Waits Crossing in Section (26) twenty
Six Township (10) Ten South of Range (22) Twenty two
East being property bought from the Florida South-
ern Rail Road the Ninth day of March A.D. 1883. To
have and to hold the above described land to the
said party of the second part his heirs and ass-
igns together with the rights members and appur
tenances thereunto being belonging or in any manner
appertaining And the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and
assigns the title to the above bargained sold and
conveyed premises will forever warrant and def
end against all legal claims and demands In
Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and seals the date first written
