"Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County } Know all men by these presents
that We James W. Doig and Wm H. Robertson and Marga
ret E. Robertson wife of Wm H. Robertson all of the
State and County aforesaid for and in consideration
of the sum of Five dollars to us in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have gran
ted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
Francis W. Doig her heirs and assigns the following
described piece parcel tract or lot of land situate
lying and being in the City of Gainesville Alachua
County State of Florida to wit: Commencing at the
South West Corner of Block One (1) Range Two (2)
in what is Known as Doig & Robinsons Addition to
the said Town or City of Gainesville running thence
North four hundred and fifty (450) feet thence
East Two Hundred (200) feet thence South Four
Hundred and fifty (450) feet thence West Two
Hundred (200) feet to the point of beginning To have
and to hold the same together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any wise appertaining in fee simple ab
solute forever But this deed is made upon the con
dition that if the said Francis W. Doig shall not
sell or convey the said above described premises
during her life time then in that event the same
shall revert to and be the property of the children
of James and Francis W. Doig then living and if their
should be no such children then living then
the same shall belong to the said James Doig and
if he should not be then alive then to his heirs In
testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
seals this 7th May 1883. }
