Agreement
State of Florida }
Alachua County } Whereas Oscar D. Morris of the
aforesaid State and County has this day sold
to A.J. Vidal of said State and County all of
that certain lot or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the town of Gainesville in the County of
Alachua State of Florida particularly Known and
described upon the Maps and plans of the original
Town of Gainesville as being the North half of
Lot No One (1) of Block No Three (3) of Range Seven
(7) with the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging at and for the sum of Eighteen
hundred and fifty Dollars of which amount the
sum of twelve hundred and fifty dollars has
this day been paid in cash by the said A.J. Vidal
to the said O.D. Morris and upon the payment of
which said sum of Twelve hundred and fifty
dollars the said O.D. Morris has executed and del
ivered to the said A.J. Vidal a Warranty Deed
of Conveyance in fee to said Lot of land
and has this day put the said A.J. Vidal into the
possession of said premises and whereas there
exists a defect in the title to said property in
a certain deed of conveyance of record heretofore
made and executed by one Mary A. Myers and
her husband Frank Myers former owners of said
property to Thaddeus Foster which defect the said
O.D. Morris is endeavoring to clear up and remove
