                  "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this 3rd day of 
Alachua County   } January AD 1883 between Col W.A. Colclough (widower)
Mrs O.C. Colclough in her own right and Chas A. Colclough her husband
who joins in this deed for the purpose of ratifying and confirming the
act of his said wife of the first part and Mrs Hattie A. Veich of the
second part all of the State and county aforesaid Witnesseth: That the
said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of
Twelve hundred ($1200.00) dollars to them paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargains sell and convey unto the said party of the second part
all that certain lot tract piece or parcel of land lying and 
being situate in the State and county aforesaid in Section Nine (9)
Township Ten (10) South Range Twenty (20) East particularly described
as follows to wit Beginning at a point which is located twenty feet
north of and from the center of the "Florida Southern Railway" track which
point is situated Six chains and Ten links Westerly from where the
said "Railway" track crosses the run of "Sweet Water Branch" and
running thence in a westerly direction along a line parallel to and
Twenty feet from the center of the said Railway track Nineteen (19) 
chains and Ninety (90) links to a Stake Thence North Forty Two
(42°) degrees East Sixteen (16) chains to the edge of the public Road
leading from Gainesville to Micanopy Thence South Twenty three
and a half (23 1/2°) degrees East Fourteen (14) chains and Ninety Two (92)
links to the point of beginning containing by estimation Twelve (12)
acres of land more or less. Together with all the rights privileges
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and To Hold the same unto the said party of the second part
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
absolute and the said parties of the first part do hereby covenant and
agree with the said party of the second part that they are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that
they have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same
that the same is free from all encumbrances and that they
will and their heirs executors and administrators shall and will
forever warrant and defend the same unto the said party of
the Second part and to her heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same
