above named grantor Julia A. Van Ness acknowledged in due form of
law the above deed to be his own act and deed and the act and

end that the same as such might be recorded in the Clerk's

                      Deed
State of Florida } This Indenture made and enter into this 8th day of
Alachua County   } January AD 1883 between Mrs Charlotte E. Mayo
and A.D. Mayo her husband who joins in this deed for the purpose
of ratifying and confirming the act of his said wife of the first part
and Mrs Josephine E. Johnson of the second part all of the
State and County aforesaid: Witnesseth That the said parties of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred
($500.00) dollars to them paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
