have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part all that
certain lot tract piece or parcel of land lying and being situate in the
State and County aforesaid and particularly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at the North East corner of Lot number Eight (8) in "Brush's
addition" to the town of Gainesville and running thence West along
the Northern boundary line of said Lot one hundred and Fifteen (115) feet
Thence South one hundred feet (100) Thence East Ten 10 feet thence South
one hundred (100) feet Thence East one hundred and Five (105) feet to the
Eastern boundary line of said Lot Thence North along said Eastern
boundary line Two Hundred (200) feet to the point of beginning containing
one half an acre of land more or less Together with all the rights privileges
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining
To Have and To Hold the same unto the said party of the second part
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute
and the said parties of the first part do hereby covenant and
agree with the said party of the second part that they are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that
they have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same that
the same is free from all encumbrances and that they will and
their heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend the same unto the said party of the second
part and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns against
the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Testimony whereof

Alachua County   } January AD 1883 before me personally appeared
Mrs Charlotte E. Mayo wife of A.D. Mayo one of the grantors
in the foregoing deed of conveyance who upon being duly questioned
and examined by me separate and apart from her husband says and
acknowledges before me that she made herself a party to the 
said deed for the purpose of conveying to the grantee therein named
all her right of Separate property in the lands in said deed
described and conveyed and that she did the same freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
or fear of or from her said husband
