Chatham Co Dec 14 1882 } Know all men by these presents
that I have this day sold to Mrs Rhoda J. Rogers Twenty Six acres
of Land lying in Alachua County Florida known by the following
survey Begin at the NW Cor of the SW quarter (1/4) of S 29 T 10 R 22
run east Twenty Two (22) rods thence S (80) rods thence West
fifty two (52) rods thence North (80) rods thence east thirty 30,
rods to Starting Point to me in hand paid before the Sealing and
delivery of these presents the sum of - receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged and I will forever warrant and defend the same

       I Rebecca L. Heidt wife of E. Heidt do declare that I have
freely & without any compulsion signed sealed & delivered the above title
to Mrs Rhoda J. Rogers and I do hereby renounce all title or claim of
dower that I might claim or be entitled to after the death of my said
husband out of the land conveyed in this title

of December in the year eighteen hundred and Eighty two personally
appeared before me a Commissioner duly appointed and authorized by the
Executive authority of Florida under the Laws of said State to take
within the State of Georgia proof and acknowledgement of deeds etc
to be used and recorded in said State of Florida Emanuel Heidt to me
well known to be the person who executed the within Deed by him Sealed
and Subscribed and the said Emanuel Heidt acknowledged the
execution thereof to be his free act and deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto 
set my hand and affixed my official seal at Savannah in
the County of Chatham and State of Georgia the fourteenth day
of December in the year eighteen hundred and eighty two
