                       "Deed"
This Indenture made the 1st day of December in
the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and Eighty three Between Irving E. Webster and his wife
Hattie E. Webster of Alachua County Florida of the first
part and Mourning J. Carter of Oconee County South
Carolina party of the second part witnesseth that the 
said parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Nine Hundred & Seventy Five Dollars
lawful money of the United States of America to them in
hand paid by the said party of the second part at
or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the recept whereof is hereby acknowledged have gran
ted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed
and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns for 
ever all that certain Lot Tract or parcel of land
situated lying and being in the county of Alachua in
the State of Florida and known and described as follows
to wit: The South half of Block (5) Five in Range
(6) six in the Town of Gainesville in Alachua County
Florida according to the map of the Survey of the said
town of Gainesville recorded on page 383 of Book
"H" of the records of said county  That is to say one
hundred feet north and south and running from street
to street East and West off of the south part of 
the said Block No 5.  Together with all and sing
ular the rights tenements hereditaments and appurtenan
ces thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and 
the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders
rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate
right title interest of every character therein and the
property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well
in law as in equity of the said parties of the first part
of in and to the same and every part and parcel the
reof with the appurtenances  To Have and to hold the 
above granted bargained and described premises with
the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part
and to her heirs and assigns to her and their own prop
er use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple
absolute and the said Parties of the first part for
themselves & their heirs executors and administrators
do covenant grant and agree to and with the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and
assigns that the said parties of the first part
at the time of the sealing and delivery of these
