of conveyance and acknowledged that he ex
ecuted the same for the purpose therein expr
essed whereupon it is prayed that the same may
be recorded In witness whereof I have hereunto

M.L. Oliver & Husband To G.W. Holden
"Lease"
State of Florida }
Alachua County } This Indenture of lease made
and entered into this the thirtieth day of July AD
1883 between Martha L. Oliver and her husband Peter
M. Oliver of said State and County the parties of the
first part and George W. Holden the party of the sec
ond part witnesseth that for and in consideration
of one thousand dollars per annum payable mon
thly in advance by the said party of the second part
to the parties of the first part the said parties of the first
part do by these presents let and lease unto the
said party of the second part that certain lot
or parcel of land known as the Oliver House prop
erty more particularly described by reference to the
deed of said property mad by Wm A. Colclough
to the said M.L. Oliver dated July 5th AD 1880 and
recorded in Book "M" pp 662-663 of the records of said
County situated in Gainesville Florida and the said
party of the second part hereby agrees and obligates
himself to build and construct a two story wooden
building fronting on West Main St on the Northern
part of the property herein based and it is fur
ther agreed between the parties hereto that after
the expiration of the said term of Five years the
said party of the second part shall have the op
tion to continue this lease for an additional term
of five years at the rate and upon the same terms
as herein before expressed and it is further agreed
that if this lease determines at the end of the term
of five years from the first of August 1883 by the |
