Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Nine Hundred and
Sixty Dollars to them in hand paid by the said parties
of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby ackno
wledged have granted sold and conveyed unto the
said parties of the second part their heirs and as
signs the following described tract or parcel of land
lying being and situate in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida to wit:  All of section five Township
Eight south of Range Twenty one East containing
Sx hundred and forty acres more or less | Sec 5
Twp 8 S R 21 E |  To Have and to hold the premises
hereby conveyed Together with all the rights privileges
and appurtenances to the said parties of the second part
their heirs and assigns as Tenants in common and not
as joint Tenants forever an the said parties of the
first part do hereby covenant and agree to and with
the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns for themselves and their heirs executors and adm
inistrators to forever warrant and defend the title to the 
premises hereby conveyed against the claim of every
person whomsoever  In witness whereof we have here

thousand eight hundred and Eighty three before me a Notary
Public of said State personally appeared Simon J. Temple
and Sarah Jane Temple his wife whose names are subsc
ribed to the annexed instrument as parties thereto person
ally known to me to be the individuals described therein
and who executed the same and they and each of them
acknowledged to me that they executed the said instrument
each respectively freely and voluntarily for the uses
and purposes therein mentioned and I do further
certify that Sarah Jane Temple wife of the said
Simon J. Temple did acknowledge to me on exam
ination separately and apart from her husband that
she executed the same freely and voluntarily for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned and for the
purpose of relinquishing all the claim title to or
interest in said premises which she may possess
by right of dower or otherwise without fear or
compulsion or undue influence of her said hus
