stores one small & the Large Store now occupied
by the party of the second in the building known
as the Ropers New Hall building Together with the
warehouse in the rear of said building Togeth
er with the yard and Lot connected therewith said
stores and building situated on the south East corner
of the Court House Square in the town of Gain
esville To Have and to hold the same unto the said
party of the second part from the first day of
March AD 1883 to the first day of March 1886 and the
said party of the second part covenants and agrees
with the party of the first part to pay the said
party of the first part a rent for said property
The the sum of Twenty five hundred dollars ($2500)
to paid in monthly instalments at the End of Each
month as the rent shall accrue and become due
the said party of the second part agrees with
the party of the first part that at the Expirat
ion of the time mentioned in this lease peaceable
given
possession of the said premises shall be^to said
party of the first part in as good condition as
they now are usual wear Excepted and that
upon the non pay of the whole or any potion
of the said rent at the time when the sum
is above promised to be paid the said party
of the first part may either distress for his
rent or declare this lease at an end the said
party of the second part hereby waiving any notice
of such Election or any demand for the possess
ion of said premises the covenants herein shall
Extend to and be binding upon the heirs executors
and administrators of the parties to this lease In
witness whereof the parties hereto have hereunto set
