This Indenture made and entered into on this the tenth
day of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and Eighty Between The
Florida Land and Immigration company a body corp
orate under the laws of the State of Florida party of
the first part and Joel N. Townsend of Alachua
County State of Florida party of the second part
witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
dollars lawful money of the United States of America
to it in hand paid by the said party of the second
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has given granted aleined bargained sold transfered
conveyed and confirmed and does by these pres
ents give grant alein bargain sell Transfer rem
ise release convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever
all that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying
and being in the county of Alachua and State of 
Florida and known and described on the public
maps and records of said State as the North East
quarter of the North west quarter of section Twenty
nine in Township Ten South of Range Twenty two
East containing Forty acres more or less (NE1/4 of
NW1/4 Sec 29 T10 S R22 E) To Have and to hold the
above granted bargained and described premises tog
ether with all and singular the rights and privile
ges immunities easements and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said
party of the second part and to his heirs and assig
ns as his and their absolute property in fee simple
forever and the said Florida Land and Immigra
tion Company for itself and assigns and for all
others claiming by through or under it does covenant
and agree that at the time of the execution and de
livery of these presents the said company is seized
of a good and indefeasible fee simple to the above
premises and has good right to convey the same
as it has conveyed the same free and dischar
ged from all encumbrances and liens of any and
every nature and description and that the said
