that I Amelia Legare of the aforesaid County and
State for and in consideration of the sum of One thousand
dollars to me in hand paid by Mrs M.A.E. Murphy of
the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargain
ed sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey unto her the said Mrs M.A.
E. Murphy all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel
of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida particularly known and described
as follows to wit: All of that portion of the North East
quarter NE1/4 of the South East quarter SE1/4 of Sec
tion Twenty three (sec 23) Township eight (T8) South
of Range Twenty one East (S R21E) lying and being
East of the street known on the records as Fifth
Avenue in Legares Addition to Waldo containing by 
estimation twenty six acres of land more or less. Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining  To Have and hold the same unto her
the said Mrs M.A.E Murphy and to her heirs execu
tors administrators and assigns in fee simple and
absolute and I the said Amelia Legare do hereby cov
enant and agree to and with the said Mrs M.A.E.
Murphy that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property
herein and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the
same is free from all encumbrances of any kind
whatsoever and that I will and my heirs executors
and administrators shall and will forever warrant
and defend the same unto her the said Mrs M.A.
E. Murphy and to her heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claims and demands of
any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or
hereafter to claim the same  In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
on this 10th day of November AD 1881.
