James M. Hawthorn To S.P. Hawthorn
"Deed"
This Indenture made the 17th day of January in the
year of Our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and Eighty three
Between James M. Hawthorn of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida of the first part and Mrs Sarah P. Hawthorn of the
County and State above written of the second part witnesseth
that the said party of the first part for and in consider
ation of the sum of five 5.00/100 Dollars lawful money of
the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part at or before the ensealing and de
livery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
ledged has granted bargained sold aleined revised released
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant
bargain sell alein remise release convey ad confirm unto
the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns
forever all Lot or tract of land lying and being in the
town of Hawthorn and State of Florida described as follows
Lot Two (2) in block Ten (10) fronting sixty (60) feet on
Reed Street and on McMeekin Street one hundred
and five feet (105) Together with all and singular the ten
ements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and revers
ions remainders and profits thereof and also all the estates
title interest possession claim and demand whatsoever
as well in law as in equity of the said party of the first
part To Have and to Hold the above granted and described
premises with the appurtenances unto the said part of
the second party heirs and assigns to her own proper
use forever and the said party of the first part for him
self and his heirs executors and administrators does cov
enant to and with the said party of the second part
her heirs and assigns that the said party of the
first part at the time of the sealing and delivery
of these presents has lawfully seized in fee simple
of and in all and singular the above bargained and
described premises with appurtenances and has good
right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same
and that the said party of the second part her
heirs and assigns shall peaceably possess the above
granted premises with the appurtenances without
molestation or disturbance of the said party of the |
