        D.P. Newsom  To  Charlotte Barber
                  "Deed"
This Indenture made this fourth day of August AD
Eighteen Hundred and seventy three between D.P. New
som of the first part and Charlotte Barber of the sec
ond part both parties of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida witnesseth that the said party of
the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of thirty Dollars to him in hand paid by the party
of the second part hath bargained sold and convey
ed and by these presents does bargain sell and con
vey unto the said Charlotte Barber the following des
cribed lot of land situated in the vilage of Micanopy
Alachua County Florida to wit lot No (3) three of
Township four (4) of range no four (4) said lot
being described according to a survey of the same
made during the life time of Joel B. Smith and
containing One acre more or less To have and to hold
the afore described premises together with all and
singular the houses buildings and appurtenances be
longing to the same or in any wise appertaining unto 
the said party of the second part her heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple forever
and the said party of the first part covenants
and agrees with the party of the second part that
he is lawfully seized of the afore described premises
and that he has good right to sell and convey
the same to the said party of the second part and
that he will warrant and defend the title to the
same to the said party of the second part her
heirs and assigns against all persons  In testimony 
whereof the said party of the first part has here
unto set his hand and affixed his seal on the
