                  "Deed"
This Indenture made on the 28th day of May in
the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and Eighty Three between F.L. Freyer and his wife
Julia B. Freyer of the State of Georgia of the
first part and A.M. Barber Samuel Rollins Allen
Wilson Neil Oats & Ben Bolding as Trustees of the
Colored School in the Vilage of Micanopy & State of
Florida of the second part witnesseth that for and
in consideration of the sum of Forty Dollars to
them in hand paid and and before the signing
and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged the said parties of the first part have
given granted bargained sold and delivered and
by these presents do so give grant bargain sell
and deliver to the said parties of the second part
the following described town lot or parcel of land
situate in the Village of Micanopy in the County
of Alachua & State of Florida To Wit: Running North
& South Each way 233 feet and East & West each way
187 feet containing One acre of land adjoining to
and situate immediately East of the certain acre
lot of land now owned by the colored Methodist
Episcopal Church said acre of land being situate
immediately on the Street running East and west
thorough the Southern end of the public Square
in the said Village of Micanopy "the dimensions
to be of the same length and width as said adjoin
ing church 1 acre lot" To Have and to hold the
above described and conveyed lot of land Together
with all and singular the houses buildings imp
rovements and appurtenances to the same belonging
