      John C. Ryder  To  Leonard G. Dennis

State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I John C. Ryder Bachelor of the aforesaid
State and County for and in consideration of the
sum of One thousand Dollars cash to me in hand
paid on this day by Leonard G. Dennis of said State 
and County before the delivery hereof the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge and the further con
sideration that the said Leonard G. Dennis assumes
and will pay all such sums of money principal
and interest which may now be due or owing
upon a certain mortgage executed by J.B. Wester
to H.F. Duton and J.G. Nichols which mortgage is an
encumbrance upon the real estate herein conveyed
and is recorded at pages 216 and 217 et seq of Mort
gage Book "E" of the public records of Alachua
County and the further consideration that the
said Leonard G. Dennis assumes and will pay the 
sum of Four thousand two hundred Dollars now
due upon another mortgage executed by me the said
J.C. Ryder to Charles Burleigh recorded at pages 327
and 328 et seq of Mortgage Book "F" of the public
records of Alachua County Florida which mortgage
is a lein also upon the property herein conveyed
have granted bargained sold aleined and conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alein
and convey unto him the said Leonard G. Dennis all
of That Lot Block piece or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the town of Gainesville in
Alachua County in the State of Florida particularly
described upon the maps of said Town of Gainesville
as being Block No Two (2) of Range No Four (4) and
generally known as the Arlington House Block
Together with all and singular the tenements heredit
aments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in
anywise appertaining also the following personal property
to wit: All of the Hotel furniture belonging to and
now in the Arlington Hotel on said lot of land above
described including the bedding bed room sets and
bed coverings linen blankets belonging to same and all
