December 1883 before me James W. Chapman a
Commissioner of Deeds for Florida personally appear
ed Louise Sedelle Dubois wife of Emile Dubois and
Maximillion D. Berlitz and Lillie B. Berlitz his 
wife to me known to be the persons described in
and who executed the foregoing instrument and sever
ally acknowledged the execution thereof to be their
free act and deed for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned and the said Louise Sedelle wife
of the said Emile Debois and the said Lillie B. 
Berlitz the wife of the said Maximilion D. Berlitz
on an examination taken and made separately and
apart from their said husbands did acknow
ledge that they made themselves a party to the said
deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquish
ing their dower or right of dower in and to
the lands tenements and hereditaments therein des
cribed and thereby granted and released and that
such relinquishment or renunciation of dower
is made by them freely and voluntarily and 
without any constraint apprehension or fear
of or from their said husbands
