                "Deed"
State of Florida
This Indenture made this 26th day of February 1864 Bet
ween Peter Arnow of the County of Marion and State af
oresaid of the one part and William A. Owens of the 
same County and State of the other part witnesseth
that the said Peter Arnow for and in consideration
of the sum of fifteen hundred Dollars to him in hand
paid by the said William A. Owens the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents Doth grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said William A. Owens
his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel
of land being part of Arredondo Grant situate
lying and being in the county of Alachua Known
as section (10) Ten and Fractional section three (3)
Three Township (9) Range (21) south and east contain
ing one thousand acres more or less To Have and to hold
all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto
being or belonging or in anywise appertaining and the
remainders reversions rents issues and profits thereof and
every part thereof unto the said William A. Owens and
his Heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the 
said Peter Arnow for himself and his heirs executors
and administrators the above bargained premises unto the
said William A. Owens and his Heirs Executors Admin
istrators and assigns shall and will warrant and 
forever defend the right and title against all claims
whatsoever  In witness whereof the said Peter Arnow
hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day

ed Peter Arnow came in person before me by me
being examined separate and apart from her said
husband declares that she freely and voluntarily relinq
uishes her right of dower or thirds to the above
described lands to the said William A. Owens with
out dread fear or coercion from her said hus
