                   "Deed"
This Indenture made this First day of Dececember AD 1883.
between F. James Hammond of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida party of the first part and Anna
Phelon or Clement Williams of Warrick Co State Indiana
of the County of Orange and State of Florida party of 
the second part witnesseth that the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of One Hund
red and Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt where
of is hereby acknowledged has bargained sold and trans
ferred and by these presents does bargain sell and trans
fer unto the said party of the second part and her
heirs and assigns forever that certain parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and more particularly described as follows Lot 
(4) Four Block (27) Twenty Seven in Section Twenty six
Township (10) Ten South Range (22) Twenty Two East in the
Town of Hawthorn in said State and  County and Known
at lot "C" on plat of the County Survey or W.L. Sims
bounded on the south by land of J.D. Bell on the
North and West by land of J.M. Hawthorn and on the
East by Johnson Street being one hundred and five 
feet square Together with all the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances with every privilege right title
interest and estate dower and right of dower reversion
remainder and easement thereto belonging or in any wise
appertaining To Have and to Hold the same in fee simple
forever and the said party of the first part does cov
enant with the said party of the second part that
he is lawfully seized of said premises that they are
free of all encumbrance and that he has good right
and lawful authority to sell the same and that he
will warrant and defend the same against the law
ful claims of all persons In witness whereof that said
party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and
seal the day and year above written.
