                "Power of Attorney"
Know all men by these presents that I Wilburn Lassiter 
of the Town of Gainesville County of Hall of the State
of Georgia have made constituted and appointed and by
these presents do make constitute and appoint Laurence
L. Hill of the Town of Gainesville County of Alachua
State of Florida my True and Lawful attorney in fact for 
me and in my name place and stead to cansel and
satisfy and discharge a certain mortgage made execu
ted and delivered to me for ($550) Five hundred and fifty
dollars said mortgage recorded on page (742) of Mortg
age "D" of the records of Alachua County Florida and
for me and in my name place and stead to cancel satisfy
and discharge a certain decree for the foreclosure of
mortgage in which I was complainant and Charles W.
Little and Sarah C. Little his wife were defendants for
the sum of $636 17/100 Six Hundred and thirty six and 17/100
dollars Together with costs made and rendered by the
Honerable James B. Dawkins under date of the 12th
of February AD 1880 covering (480) Four hundred and
Eighty acres in Section 15 Fifteen Township (9) South
Range (19) Nineteen East and recorded on page 257 Cha
ncery Order Book "B" of the record of Alachua County
and to receive and receipt for any and all moneys
due now under said Mortgage and to give full
receipt against terms and discharges of said mortg
age and Decree so as to discharge and release the
lien of the same as fully and completely as I might 
could or ought to do if I were personally present
hereby ratifying and confirming all that my said
attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done
by virtue hereof  In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal on this the
4th day of January AD 1884.
