described in and who executed the foregoing Deed who
being at the time separate and apart from her hus
band the said D.L. Branning did then make and execute 
the foregoing acknowledgment her name being with 
her own hand subscribed and her seal affixed in
my presence witness my hand and seal at Waldo the

State of South Carolina}
City of Charleston     }  Know all men by these presents
that we James S. Gibbes and Mary E. Gibbes his wife
of the City of Charleston State of South Carolina for
and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred
and eighty four 50/100 Dollars to us or to our agent in
hand paid before the delivery hereof the receipt where
of we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold and conveyed: and by these presents do grant
bargain sell alien and convey unto Ambrose Welch
of Alachua County State of Florida all of that
certain piece parcel or tract of land situated lying
and being in Alachua County in the State of Florida
particularly described as follows to wit  Beginning at 
the half mile stake on the Northern boundary line
of section Twenty five 25 running North Forty three 43
chains and seventeen (17) Links thence West Eleven (11)
chains thence South Three (3) chains and Seventeen (17)
links to a Stake thence West Nine (9) chains thence South
forty (40) chains Thence East Twenty (20) chains to the point
