of and from all and all manner of former or other
gifts grants bargains sales leases mortgages wills entails
jointures dowries Judgments executions and encumbrances
of what name or nature soever that might in any
measure or degree obstruct or make void this present
Deed Furthermore I the said grantor for myself and for
my Heirs Executors and administrators do covenant and
engage the above demised premises to the said grantee
their Heirs and assigns against the lawful claims or dem
ands of any person or persons whatsoever forever to warrant
secure and defend by these presents and I Ann Powell wife
of the said Edward Powell in consideration of the sum
paid as aforesaid do hereby release and forever quit
claim unto the said grantees their Heirs and assigns
all my right of dower in and to the aforegranted premises
In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
seals this seventh day of December Eighteen hundred

County of Providence  **}  Be it remembered that
on this seventh day of December AD 1883 before me
Gilman E. Jopp a Commissioner duly appointed and
authorized by the executive authority of the State
of Florida under the laws of said State to take within
the said State of Rhode Island Prooff and ackno
wledgment of Deeds &c to be used and recorded in said
State of Florida personally appeared Edward Powell and
Ann Powell his wife to me well known to be the person
who executed the within Instrument and they acknow
ledged the same to be their free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the
said Ann Powell did this day to me on a private
examination made separate and apart from her 
said husband acknowledge and declare to me that
she made herself party to and executed the same
for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing
all and every dower and right of dower in and to the
lands in said conveyance described and that the
same was done by her freely and without and fear
or compulsion from her said husband  In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my off
icial my official seal this seventh day of December
