sign seal and deliver said deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned and that he and E.H. Jordan 
signed the same as witness Whereupon it is prayed

    Rev W.M. Kennedy  To  Mrs E. Edwards
                    "Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 24th
of Nov 1862 Between Rev W.M. Kennedy of the one
part and Mrs E. Edwards of the part witnesseth that
the said Kennedy moved by a desire to aid the 
Widow of a brother minister and for the further
consideration of Five Dollars the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and 
delivered and doth by these presents bargain sell
and deliver to the said Mrs Edwards a certain lot
of land in the Town of Micanopy Known as
Lot No 25 of Watson Survey containing one acre
more or  less  The title to which lot with all
the appurtenances thereof the said Kennedy binds 
himself his heirs and assigns to defend to the
said Mrs Edwards & her children forever In
witness whereof he hath set his hand and seal
