Amos Barber  To  Dean Cromenday
                "Deed"
This agreement made and entered into this 6th day 
of April AD One Thousand eight and seventy Eight
between Amos Barber of the County of Alachua town
of Micanopy and State of Florida of the first part and
Dean Comenday of the same town and County and
State aforesaid of the second part witnessed that
said Amos Barber for and in consideration of the
sum of Twenty five dollars the receipt whereof he does
hereby acknowledge has bargained sold conveyed and
granted by these presents does fully and freely grant
bargain sell and convey unto said Dean Croneday
of the second part the following described town lot
situated in the town of Micanopy County of Alachua
and State of Florida viz Lot number three of Township
three and range four said lot containing one acre
more or less exclusive of of streets to a survey of
same made during the life time of Joel Smith Deseased
To Have and to hold the aforesaid presents Together with
all and singular the appurtenances pertaining thereto to the
said Dean Cromeday of the second part in fee
simple forever and Amos Barber of the first
part do covenant with said Dean Cromeday
that I will and my Heirs executors and admin
istrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said
Dean Cromeday of the second part his heirs and ass
igns forever against the lawful claims and dem
ands of all persons  In witness whereof I have here
unto set my Hand and seal the day and year above
written

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I Elizabeth Barber wife of Amos Barber of
my own free will and consent without any com
ulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
my said husband became a party to the foregoing
Indenture and thereby relinquished all my right of 
Dower to the foregoing described lot of land to the
said Dean Crumly for the consideration therein
named  In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my 
hand and seal this 4th day of January AD 1881.
