"Agreement"
Memorandum of agreement entered into between
Geo L. Marsteller James Hopkinson J.M La Roche
and J.C. Seabrook made this the first day of January
AD Eighteen hundred and eighty four on Edisto
Island Berkely County South Carolina Geo L. Mar
steller on the first part agrees to furnish sixty acres
of land in the State of Florida situated in Alachua
County within three or four miles of Gainesville and
further agrees to furnish all necessary implements
animals and supplies for clearing and putting
said land under cultivation and planting it out
in Orange Trees James Hopkinson J.M. La Roche
and J.C. Seabrook on their part agree to clear
said land and erect such dwellings as are
necessary for residing on said land and
working it to the best of their ability with econ
omy and attention and furthermore agree to
