James M. Hawthorn  To  Ella Hawthorn
                     "Deed"
This Indenture made this tenth day of November AD 1883
Between James M. Hawthorn and Sarah P. Hawthorn his
wife of the County of Alachua and State of Florida parties
of the first part and Ella Hawthorn of the County of Alach
ua and State of Florida party of the second part witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and fifty Dollars
to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged have bargained sold and transfered and by these
presents do bargain sell and transfer unto the said party
of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever that
that certain parcel of land lying and being in the county
of Alachua and State of Florida and more particularly des
cribed as follows Lots (1) One and Four (4) in Block 
(13) Thirteen being (2) Two (10) Ten acre Lots surveyed and 
Platted by W.L. Sims Aug 25 1879 and lying and being in
Section Twenty Seven (27) Township Ten(10) South Range
(22) Twenty two East being the Ten acre Lot now occupied
by Caswell Wade and the one lying directly south of 
the same.  Together with all the tenements hereditaments
and appurtances with every privilege right title interest
and estate dower and right of dower reversion remainder
and easement thereto belonging or in anywise appertain
ing  To Have and to Hold the same in fee simple forever
and the said party of the first do covenant with the said
party of the second part that they are lawfully seized
of said premises that they are free of all  encumbrance
and that they have good right and lawful authority to sell
the same and that they will warrant and defend the
same against the lawful claims of all persons  In witness
whereof that said parties of the first part have here
unto set their hands and seal the day and year above
