Henry Jackson  To  Stephen Ross
                    "Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas we Henry Jackson and
Georgiana Jackson husband and wife did on the 10th
day of October AD 1883 make sign seal execute
and deliver to Stephen Ross a deed to a certain tract
of land described as follows to wit: Begining at the
North East corner of Block or lot Number Two (2)
of what is properly known as Browns Addition to the
Town of Gainesville the same being in the North West Quarter
of section Five (5) Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20)
S & E Thence running South one hundred and five feet
to the North East corner of Lee McDonells Lot thence
West Two hundred and Ten feet thence North One hun
dred and five feet thence East Two hundred and Ten
feet to the place of beginning containing by estimation
One half acres of land more or less and whereas
the said above described land did not at the time 
of the execution and delivery of said deed belonging to
us as we had previously sold the same to Lee
McDonell and whereas it was our intention to
sell and convey the lands herein after described
Therefore know all men by these presents that we
Henry Jackson and Georgeana Jackson for and
in consideration of the sum of Sixty dollars to us
in hand paid by Stephen Ross of the State and
County aforesaid the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain 
sell and convey unto the said Stephen Ross the
following described lot Tract piece or parcel of
land lying and being in Block No (2) of Browns
Addition to Gainesville in Alachua County in
the State of Florida to wit: Commencing at a point
on the Eastern boundary line of said
Block No 2 at a point which is Two hundred and
ten (210) feet South of the North East corner of
said Block No (2) Two and at the South East
corner of said Lee McDonells lot thence West
One hundred and forty seven and 3/5 feet thence
South One hundred and forty Seven and 3/5 feet
thence East One hundred and forty seven and
3/5 feet to the place of beginning and con
taining half acre more or less together with 
all and singular the Tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any
